Gord brings nearly 25 years of experience to his position as President and Director of The QUASAR Financial Planning Group. His career began as an advisor with a large insurance company in Winnipeg where he developed a successful personal practice. After a number of years in practice Gord took on the additional responsibility as Sales Manager. During his time in management, he continued to build his personal clientele while hiring and training a number of successful new advisors.
In 2000 Gord along with a partner Dave Watson formed W.P.G. the Wealth Planning Group and they have grown that business to a leading position in the financial services industry in Manitoba. In 2009 Gord was appointed President and Director of QUASAR Financial were he provides professional and personalized financial advice. His experience and commitment to upgrading his professional skills through workshops, conferences and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program have ensured a smooth transition for Quasar’s valued clients and leading edge advice to the growing number of new clients.
